Discord Rules + Punishment Times

Default punishment times without specification: Warning > 1 Hour > 1 Day > 1 Week > Permanent Ban.
If an issue can be resolved with a simple warning, it will be done so. But if it doesn't resolve, action will be taken in a matter of Ban/Timeout.

If you have been banned and believe it was unjustified, you can make a ban appeal by visiting this > Discord Ban Appeal
An first Rulebreak following our Rules will always be subject to 1 warning issued according to the Rules you break, anything more and action in a matter of a Ban/Timeout will be issued.

General Chat Rules

1. Respectful Behavior:
   • Treat others respectfully. Disagreements and criticisms are allowed; disrespect is not and action will be taken.
   • Specified Punishment - Warning > 2 hours > 12 hours > 1 day > 1 week > Permanent Ban
2. No Advertisement:
   • External advertisements are not allowed. The trading channel is an exception to this as long as it is directly related to trading purposes.
3. No Begging:
   • Begging for items, VIP, donations, or anything of that nature is not allowed.
4. Obscene Language:
   • Using an obscene way of talking or discussing sexual topics, self-harm, or other topics of similar obscene nature is prohibited.
   • Specified Punishment - Warning > 4 hours > 1 day > 1 week > Permanent Ban
5. Hate speech:
   • Hate speech of all types is prohibited.
   • Specified Punishment - 4 hours > 1 day > 1 week > Permanent Ban
6. NSFW Content:
   • NSFW content is prohibited (including any hate flags/pfp/usernames/statuses) unless posted in regards to a support ticket. The definition of what constitutes NSFW content is determined by Staff on a case-by-case basis. We do not moderate a user's profile banner, pronouns, or 'about me' section.
   • Specified Punishment - 1 day > 2 days > 1 week > Permanent Ban
7. Ungrounded/Baseless Threats towards any member:
   • Any ungrounded or baseless threat towards a member or Staff is prohibited.
   • Specified Punishment - 1 Week > 1 Month > Permanent Ban
8. Any type of user Doxxing:
   • Revealing any personal information, including but not limited to personal images, IPs, addresses, and real names, is prohibited.
   • Specified Punishment - Bring up to Senior Staff to review and take action.
9. Threats towards the UGC Community/Platform:
   • Any type of threats towards our Community/Platform as a whole will always result in a Permanent Ban.
10. Impersonation/Falsely claiming being Staff:
    • Impersonating Staff members is prohibited, including imitating Staff profiles/profile pictures/names or implying that one is part of Staff.
    • Specified Punishment - 1 day > 3 days > 1 week > Permanent Ban
11. Language Use:
    • Our Discord server is English only. You may use other languages for support as Staff determines the situation. Outside of support situations, this will not be allowed and you will be told to write in English.
12. No Drama:
    • Keep personal issues or anything drama-related to DMs and out of public channels, otherwise action will be taken.
    • Specified Punishment - Warning > 1 hour, additional hour for each subsequent Ban
13. Discord's Community Guidelines:
    • All aspects of Discord's Community Guidelines apply - action will be determined/reviewed by smod+.
14. Severe Accusations Toward Staff/Members:
    • Baseless accusations without valid proof against Staff or members are forbidden.
    • Specified Punishment - 1 week > 3 months > Permanent Ban
15. Inappropriate Name/Username/Nickname:
    • Any offensive, insulting, racist, or derogatory usernames are prohibited.
    • This includes political phrases/nicknames/mocking status.
    • Specified Punishment - Warning > 2 hours > 12 hours > 1 day > 1 week > Permanent Ban
16. NSFL Content:
    • Content containing graphic or repugnant content such as gore or lethal violence will always result in a Permanent Ban, unless posted in regards to a support ticket.
    • The definition of what constitutes NSFL content is determined by Staff on a case-by-case basis. We do not moderate a user's profile banner, pronouns, or 'about me' section.
17. Scamming:
    • Attempting to scam others is prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.

Voice Chat-Specific Rules

1. No Channel Hopping:
   • Avoid moving between voice channels excessively quickly or leaving and rejoining just to annoy other users.
2. No Micspam:
   • Loud, unnecessary noises or music played through any means other than Discord Soundboard is not allowed.
3. Respect Music Bots:
   • Be considerate when using music bots in voice channels, don't abuse them.
4. Background Noise:
   • Keep background noise minimal and use push-to-talk (PTT) if necessary.
