Golden members in tf2 discord arent getting appreciated enough imo

golden members should have removed slowmodes at every channel cause i think they would be guaranteed to not decide to just go full batshit crazy mode and spam the channels
they should have more warns before issuing a timeout or ban since they literally run this community and keep it alive
they should have more forums permissions
they should have maybe a free custom role on discord
maybe a seperate channel

generally more appreciation than just 3 weeks of free vip

being a golden member is really boring... and if none of these work for you discord community managers on tf2 side > please come up with something new

Although discord rank does not really mean that much except that the person is active (at least for the CS side).
I'm curious what forum permissions do they need? Access pages unavailable to normal members? Even a TF2 admin and CS officers are limited from certain things on the forum, giving extra permission to a golden rank members seems unncessary and unlogical.

i cant really say anything about what privilege a golden member on forums would have cause i dont really hang out on forums that much but i mentioned it as a suggestion if it doesnt work out

Hey,

The member, active member, well known member, and golden member roles are all rewards in themselves for long term activity

There are some benefits that come with the trust of different levels of community activity, such as images/files for newer members, and changing nickname for longer term members, but beyond that the roles are not designed to have perks along side them, outside the temporary VIP for achieving each level

There might be an additional level added in the future as Golden member was added after dozens of members reached well known at rank 25, but that is for the future
